According to Chris Colfer’s manager, the actor’s Twitter account was hacked and he’s not leaving Glee. Chris has played the out high-school student Kurt Hummel since season one and stayed with the show even after his character graduated and left for New York to study along with fellow actor Lea Michelle (Rachel Berry). While still attending McKinley, Kurt left the school due to bullying for local private school Dalton Academy where he met his future boyfriend and fellow show-choir singer Blaine Anderson (played by Darren Criss). Kurt and Blaine eventually returned to McKinley and after Kurt’s graduation and move to NYC, the boys decided to get married.

Chris, who is openly gay in real life, was featured prominently throughout the last five seasons tackling gay teen topics including bully, acceptance and falling in love (with Blaine). He has won a Golden Globe for his performance as Kurt and while he’s remained active on the show and appearing in most episodes, Colfer has found time to write four novels. The first of his trilogy, The Land of Stories: The Wishing Spell reached number one on the New York Times number-one bestseller list, while he wrote the screenplay for another of his novels, Struck By Lightning, and starred in the film.

Season five recently wrapped. One week after a tribute episode for actor Cory Monteith, on October 17, 2013 show creator Ryan Murphy announced that the sixth season would be the final season for Glee.
