The final unreleased work of comedic legend Robin Williams will be released in July. ‘Boulevard’ sees Williams play a married and closeted bank manager in Nashville. His character Nolan Mack picks up a young hustler (Roberto Aguire) one night, but instead of Leo’s body, Nolan just wants companionship.

‘Boulevard’ had its world premiere last year at the Tribeca Film Festival where it received positive reviews. The film will open in New York and other cities on July 17.

Directed by Dito Montiel, Boulevard also stars Kathy Baker (Saving Mr. Banks) as Nolan’s wife and Bob Odenkirk (Better Call Saul) as his friend.

This is not the first time Williams played a gay role as he previously starred opposite Nathan Lane in The Birdcage (the remake of the classic French film La Cage Aux Folles). In The Birdcage Williams played a flamboyant gay man who had to pretend to be straight for his son’s perspective in-laws.
