Apple posts video from San Francisco pride

I have to admit, I’m an Apple fanboy. To me the company that has always embraced creativity, being bold and different seemed to resonate with who I am. Sure this is amazing PR but I couldn’t help tear up watching their video showing what went into their participation at San Francisco Pride last month.

I was actually confused when it was reported that 5,000 Apple employees and family marched in the parade, but you can see it in the video they did it. Just as Apple has shown a commitment to the environment even if it hurts maximum profits (not that they’ll give up turning over stellar quarters), Apple is embracing diversity and honoring the community they are apart of. The company has previous donated $100,000 to defeat the hateful anti-equal-marriage Prop 8. I certainly don’t feel guilty spending money with Apple when I know they support our community, not just through words but actions.
