Vancouver street crossing gets pride treatment

Just in time for Vancouver’s Pride weekend, the city of Vancouver repainted a major intersection in the gay village with an expanded pride flag permanently painted into the pavement. The four pedestrian crossings at the corner of Davie and Bute Streets in Vancouver’s Westend community, the epicentre of gay life in Vancouver, now features an eight-color pride flag (strange since the flag contains six colors).
