Zachary Quinto and Jonathan Groff have split

So while we didn’t even know Zachary Quinto and Jonathan Groff were together, we’re sorry to hear they’ve split. (Could be happy that they’re both now on the market but let’s be realistic, no chance!) The Heroes and Star Trek star was dating the Broadway/West End/Glee performer for about a year and according to Perez Hilton, the breakup did not end well.

Groff has appeared in a number of Broadway and London’s West End productions including Spring Awakening opposite Lea Michele who he also worked with (and dated on screen) on Glee. Quinto shot to stardom as a baddie on NBC’s Heroes before getting the role of a life-time as the new Spock in JJ Abrams’ Star Trek reboot. Both have been out for ages and it’s just not a big deal, which in this day is awesome. If only more Hollywood actors had the courage to come out; it hasn’t hurt or typecast either Groff or Quinto’s careers. And like all Hollywood couples, love in the spotlight isn’t that easy.
